Minor Bantams Caught in Storm
On Sunday October 14th a storm rolled into Chesley to play the Waste Management Minor Bantams on home ice.
The Guelph Storm came out the big winner at the end of 3 periods when they scored the go ahead goal in the third while Grey Bruce fought hard to break a 2-2 tie. With less than one minute left in the game and the goalie pulled for the man advantage, Guelph managed to put the puck in the net again to nail a 4-2 win. Goals for the Highlanders came from Troy Weber and Jordan Taylor.
The Waste Management Minor Bantams will be looking for a win on Saturday, October 20thwhen they host St. Catherines at 12 and 3:30pm at the Chesley Arena in double play action. Good luck boys~! We look forward to the stands being filled with fans to help cheer them on.
