Minor PeeWee, 2011-2012 (Grey-Bruce Highlanders AAA Minor Hockey Association)

It is hard to believe that it has almost been a year since the Scandinave Minor PeeWees hit the ice in Durham to begin their AAA quest. Lat weekend, the team traveled to Welland to compete in the SCTA Qualifier Tournament and leave it all on the ice.

As the mercury starts to rise and the days get longer, the Scandinave Minor PeeWees have some unfinished business to take care of this weekend at the year end SCTA Qualifier Tournament. After a gritty performance in St. Catherines a few weeks back, the team has stumbled and thrown away some valuable points over the remainder of the regular season. 

As the regular season starts to wind down, the Scandinave Minor PeeWees found themselves playing a lot of hockey the past 2 weekends. With precious points to be had, the boys were looking to earn some valuable points as they prepare for the year end tournament.

The Scandinave Minor PeeWees spent last weekend participating in the The Central Ontario Wolves Classic in Lindsay Ontario. The Highlander squad had their best tournament showing of the year as the boys played some of their best hockey of the season.

The Savandinave Minor Peewees were back on the road this past weekend as they cruised into Guelph to tackle with the 3rd place Storm. In their first regular season game of the year, the Highlanders salvaged a point to start the year off on a promising note.
