OFFENSE SHOWS SIGNS OF LIFE!
The First Concrete Ltd Bantams hosted the Halton Hurricanes on Sunday and were looking to kick start their offense.

Unfortunately, Halton had other ideas.  After falling being 2-0 early in the game the Highlanders showed some spunk as Troy Weber set up the streaking Logan Swanton and added another for himself to tie the game in the second period.  The Highlanders looked to continue to control the momentum swing but found themselves on the wrong end of a short handed goal and the Hurricanes took a 3-2 lead into the third.

The third period began on a positive note as the Bantams looked to have shaken off the effects of losing the lead and took it to their opponent but the Hurricanes again scored on a shorthanded effort.  The Highlanders could not regain their focus and allowed the Hurricanes to run away with the game in a disastrous third period.  Troy Weber would score again on a rebound from a Noah Solinger point shot but it was much too little, much too late.

The First Concrete Ltd. Bantams will look to rebound as they play three games in the next week, including a rematch against the Halton Hurricanes.
