When Marcus Lougheed heard his name called at the OHL Draft in 2021, it marked the realization of a dream and a moment of gratitude. “Being drafted to the OHL was an amazing experience,” Lougheed said. “My parents and coaches dedicated so much time to my career and getting that opportunity was an honour. I took extra pride coming from the Highlanders and wanted to represent the organization well.”

The Grey Bruce Highlanders are proud to announce our Head Coaches for the 2026-27 season. We are excited to welcome a dedicated and experienced group of leaders who will guide our teams both on and off the ice. This coaching group brings passion, knowledge, and a strong commitment to player development - all values that are at the heart of the Highlanders program.

Reaching 400 games at the AAA level is no small feat, and for Ethan Osborne, it represents years of dedication, growth, and pride in a Grey Bruce Highlanders jersey.

During the 2024-25 season, we completed a full review of our Program using participant feedback to guide enhancements for the 2025-26 season. Now, it's time to gather feedback from Grey Bruce Highlanders families on these enhancements. 

We caught up with past Grey Bruce Highlander and 2025 OHL draft pick Hayden Stroud about his experience with the Highlanders and what he has taken from it into his future.
