Pee Wee, 2018-2019 (Grey-Bruce Highlanders AAA Minor Hockey Association)

They've done it !  Our Peewee boys have secured their spot at the OMHA AAA championship weekend in Belleville March 22-24th. 

The Highlander Peewee team have made their way to the Semi final playoff series. Last weekend they were able to capture the necessary points with a tie and a win securing the 2nd place position. They will be facing the fist place Halton Hurricanes in a 6 point series. With a spectacular start last night in Milton winning 3-1 they have certainly started strong. Game 2 is scheduled for this Saturday in Chesley. Bring your noisemakers and lets cheer these boys on !!!  Go 'Landers GO !! 

Our Peewee's might still be a little young to grow a playoff beard, but playoffs are here.   The boys had a strong end to the season capturing 7 of 10 points in the last 5 games. The first game of playoffs is next Saturday in Burlington.  Go Highlanders Go !! 

The Highlander Peewees spent a fun filled weekend in Ann Arbor, playing for Team Canada in the Nations Cup. Team Canada came away with the gold winning with a landslide 27-1 points. More importantly the team spent some quality time relaxing together, making memories and building confidence. This became very apparent in their strong playing and team work in the last few regular season games.  They captured 5 of 6 points this past weekend, building momentum as they wrap up regular season and head into playoffs.
