Upcoming events
One more week until the season is underway...hard to believe summer is almost over. 

1) Please check the website regularly as often the changes are there before I get them and can send them out.
 
2)  Please try to get all fundraising money to Shelly, Teena, Christie or Chris  as soon as you can.  The bottle drive continues....keep up the good work!
 
3)  Program:  I hope you are all close to the $1600 goal for each player.  Cindy and Stacey will have more information for us soon.  Chris will take your money anytime for this as well.
 
4)  First ice:  Saturday August 16, 5:30-7 @ Ayton and Sunday August 17th, 4-5:30 @ Ayton.
 
-Saturday August 23rd, 11:30-1:00 @ Ayton
-Sunday August 24th, exhibition game vs Kitchener, 11:30-1 @ Ayton
-Saturday August 30th, 4-5:30, Sunday August 31st 4-5:30, Monday September 1st 4-5:30...all at Ayton.  Many of us are camping at Sunny Valley that weekend, so we could maybe get together for some snacks and beverages.
 
5)  First weekend away:  Saturday September 6th, 1:00 & 5:00 exhibition games vs Elgin Middlesex Chiefs,   BBQ in between games...more details to follow.  Games will be played @ Komoka  (just outside of London).
Sunday September 7th,  9:30 team meetings, then exhibition game vs London Junior Knights, 12:30-2, Western Fair Sports Center
 
Hotel information for Sept. 6-7:  Ramada London, 817 Exeter Road,  519-681-4900 of 1-800-303-3733.  $89 per night for either 2 queens or 2 doubles, full hot breakfast, microwave and fridge in each room.  Reservations need to be made by August 13

6)  Website:  Dave Black has agreed to be our webmaster again, but he was hoping some people would be interested in writing a few articles, reports, game summaries...please talk to Dave or I if you are interested. Even if you only contribute once or twice, that would be a big help. 
 
7)  Respect in Sport Parent Program:  This program needs to be completed online before your son will be put on our roster. Please try to have this done ASAP.  If you are not sure if you still need to do it, please let me know and I can get the details for you.
