Waste Management Peewees take on the Hurricanes
The Waste Management Peewees played a hard fought and skilful first period against the Halton Hurricanes this Sunday in Flesherton.  Down 2-0 as they went into the second period, the Hurricanes put up an early one, but the Highlander Peewees answered back with a quick one to make it 3-1.  Goal was scored by Jacob Lee, unassisted.

The play was dominated by the Hurricanes in the second as they answered back scoring another three goals this period.  The Highlanders bounced back in the third scoring one and only allowing the Hurricanes to score two.  Goal was scored by Noah Johnson, assisted by Jacob Lee and Danny Skinner.

 

The team travels to Markham this weekend where the Waste Management Highlander Peewees will play Perinton Youth Hockey, Markham Majors, Whitby Wildcats and the Peterborough Petes at the Markham Majors Fall Classic Tournament.
