Peewees End Losing Streak
Highlanders ended their short losing streak on Sunday against the visiting Burlington Eagles.

The Grey-Bruce boys started their weekend in a military attack against the Brampton Batalion.  Brampton would build a two goal lead into the second period, but the Highlanders refusing to go away battled back with a goal of their own from Alec Tiley (Hodgins).  Unfortunately, Brampton would strike back very quickly to regain their two goal lead.  Like any battle, defeat was not a option and the Highlanders would close the gap to a one goal game on a goal from Dan Bureau (Love, Reaman).  Again the Battalion would fire back in the third with two goals in a thirty second span to stretch their lead.  The Grey-Bruce boys would continue to fight to the bitter end, eventually scoring late in the third when Alec Tiley (Park, O'Donnell) would find the net for the second time in the game.  There was no white flag but the end result was not what we were hoping for.
With the road trip out of the way the boys hosted Burlington Eagles in Chesley on Sunday.  The Highlanders would open the scoring early in the second frame on a goal from Jordan Reaman (Loosemore).  Again, the opposition would quickly reply notting the game at 1-1.  Burlington would gain the lead with a goal early in the third but this time our boys would quickly reply on the power play with another blast from Alec Tiley (Reaman, Park).  The boys fought to the final buzzer but were unable to claim victory but finished with a point at least.
Bring it this weekend boys as we head to Burlington Saturday!
