Bulldogs defeat Superior Midgets
The Superior Road Products Midgets had hoped for a better showing this visit to the Hammer to meet the Bulldogs.
But the Bulldogs fast movement of the puck kept the Highlanders at bay for most of the game. At the end of 2 periods the score was 5-1 in favour of the Hamilton squad. The Highlanders regrouped some during the rest and played a solid third period although they were unable to capitalize on the few chances they had. Tender Wilken held the Bulldogs to a lone goal in the third, the final score 6-1. The lone Highlander goal in this game is credited to Lindner with assists from Lowe and Sguigna.
The Highlanders will play St Catharines in Chesley next Saturday November 28th at 3pm and will be looking for a win to create some positive momemtum as they move into a busy December.
