Grey Bruce Minor Midget Highlanders opened the season strong with a 9- 2 win over the Halton Hurricanes in Ayton on Saturday. Strong Goaltending by Jerrad Kiss kept the team alive after a evenly matched 1st period. Grey Bruce offence took over in periods 2 & 3 as Mitch Wright produced the hatrick, Trevor Hughson added two more goals with singles coming from Adam Timlock, Kurtis MacDermid, Andrew Graham and Ian Nichols.
