Midgets lose to Oakville and Hamilton
The Douglas Cleaner Highlander Midgets had a tough weekend in SCTA action with losses against Oakville Rangers and Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs.
On Saturday in Flesherton, the Highlanders lost 5-2 to one of the league leaders Oakville Rangers. The Highlanders goals were scored by Jake Weidner and Josh Sguigna. On Sunday, the Highlanders travelled to Hamilton were they lost another close game 5-3 against the Bulldogs. The Highlanders goals were scored by Jed Ironmonger (2) and David Jones. The goaltenders were Jay Walker vs.Oakville and Robbie Alsop vs. Hamilton.
