The Douglas Cleaner Highlander Midgets split their games this weekend against Guelph Jr. Storm and Welland Tigers.
On Saturday in Flesherton, the Highlanders won against the Jr. Storm 8-3. The Highlanders goals were scored by Blake Forslund (2), John Doyle (2), Patrick Bell (2), Wade Mackey and Jed Ironmonger. On Sunday, the Highlanders travelled to St.Catherine's to play Welland were they lost another close game 3-1 against the Tigers. The Highlanders goal was scored by John Doyle. The goaltenders were Robbie Alsop vs. Guelph and Jay Walker vs. Welland
