Midgets Lose and Tie on the weekend
The Douglas Cleaner Highlander Midgets earned 1 point this weekend in two SCTA games.
On Saturday in Chesley, the Highlanders lost to the league leading Burlington Eagles 7-3. The Highlanders goals were scored by Joey Terwoord, Blake Forslund and Josh Sguigna. On Sunday again in Chesley, the Highlanders battled back in the third period to lead and eventually tie the Halton Hurricanes 5-5. The Highlanders goals were scored by Jed Ironmonger, John Doyle, Blake Forslund, Ryan Linthorne and Jake Weidner. The goaltenders were Robbie Alsop vs. Burlington and Jay Walker vs. Halton.
