The Dan Rear Lawn Service Minor Bantam Highlanders finished up their season this past weekend, competing in the SCTA qualifier in Welland. Game 1 saw the Highlanders up against Niagara Falls. After a good offensive effort, the Highlanders came away with a 5 - 2 win.

In the second, the Highlanders backed off with their play and allowed the Hurricanes to get back in the game. Halton scored two goals to tie the game at 2. The third period saw a back and forth game with Billy Kelly scoring with less than a minute remaining to notch the victory for the Highlanders.

The Dan Rear Lawn Service Minor Bantam Highlanders dropped a 3 - 1 decision to the Halton Hurricanes on Sunday. Halton held a 1 - 0 lead after the first period, 2 -1 after the second and then Halton added a third period insurance marker to finish the game.
