The Grey Bruce Highlanders began as a vision and a hope to provide all players in our region with an opportunity to compete with teams at the highest calibre of hockey available. In addition to the development of player on ice capabilities through outstanding coaching, the disciplines that come from competitive sports couple with the successes and failures, will help to mold their lifelong character.
We are excited to announce that the Highlander program will extend its competitive team coverage to the U11 (2013) age group for the 2023-2024 season.
The Grey Bruce Association recently named Steve Taylor as Head Coach for this Highlander U11 AAA team. Steve lives in Collingwood and currently coaches the U10 Rep team and the spring/summer 2013 Blue Thunder team. Prior to coaching, Steve's playing experience included Junior A and Ryerson University. Steve believes success requires a comprehensive program of development both on and off the ice.
