The Grey Bruce Highlanders are pleased to offer August hockey try-outs for Major Midget players, born in 1996 or 1997.

We currently have one defence and two forward positions to fill.  The successful candidates will enjoy being part of a highly skilled team in the South Central Triple A (SCTA) League of the OMHA.  We will compete in 40 league games, 3 tournaments, an NCAA college and university tour, the SCTA Qualifying Tournament, and hopefully the OMHA Championships and the Telus Cup.  Our typical week is 2 hour practices Monday and Wednesday evenings, a home game is Saturday and an away game Sunday.
TRYOUT DATES at the Normanby Recreation Centre in AYTON:
FRI 23AUG13  6 - 8 PM
SAT 24AUG13  7 - 8:30 PM
SUN 25AUG13  7 - 8:30 PM

Each tryout is $20.  Under the OHF Major Midget Pilot Project, players within the OMHA do not require a F1 Waiver from their Home AAA Zone, whereas, players outside the OMHA require a F1 Waiver from their Home Zone.

Players within the OMHA require a OMHA Major Midget AAA Player Tryout Permission Form, completed and signed by their Home Centre to be eligible to attend Tryouts.
Come out for a skate!!
