The 6-2, 195-pound defenseman from Port Elgin, Ont., has two goals and 13 points through 38 games for the 18-15-5 Lakers. He has one goal and nine points in league play.
This year's CCHA All-Rookie Team included Miami forward Austin Czarnik, Michigan forward Alex Guptill, Ohio State forward Max McCormick, Western Michigan defenseman Garrett Haar, Notre Dame defenseman Robbie Russo and WMU goaltender Frank Slubowski.
Guptill was the CCHA's top-scoring freshman with 13-12--25.
