NHL Debut
Former Highlander makes it to the NHL!
Former Owen Sound Greys player Chris Minard made his NHL debut on Monday January 21st, called up by the Pittsburg Penguins following Sydney Crosby's injury.
Chris is a graduate of Owen Sound Minor Hockey and played AAA with the Grey Bruce Highlanders. He is the first Highlander alumnus to appear in an NHL game. Chris played for the Owen Sound Greys Junior Hockey Club, and was drafted in the first round by the Owen Sound Platers, and played there for parts of 3 seasons.
