Minor Midget, 2017-2018 (Grey-Bruce Highlanders AAA Minor Hockey Association)

With a big 5-2 win over the Brampton 45’s Sunday the Minor Midget Highlanders punched their ticket to the OHL Cup. The Highlanders will be one of 8 teams playing on March 13 Wild Card Tuesday. The four winners of these games will advance on in the tournament.  A massive congratulations to these Highlanders. This achievement means they will be one of the top and last 20 minor midget teams still standing this season. This was a pre season goal for the club and one not many may have felt attainable. But here we are still playing.  CONGRATULATIONS

The Grey Bruce Highlander 2002 Minor Midget teams season continues.  After being eliminated by #2 in the Province Oakville Rangers in their SCTA play off series the Highlanders move on to a do or die Wild Card Game vs. the Brampton 45's this Sunday.   The winner of this game advances to the Wild Card Day of The OHL Cup on Tuesday March 13 at Scotia Bank Pond in Toronto.   The Minor Midgets would like to invite all the Highlander families to come down and watch this high paced game and support your fellow Highlanders.  The Minor Midgets would appreciate the support and hope to pack the ...

The Grey Bruce Highlander 2002 Minor Midgets traveled to Fort Erie for their year end SCTA League Tournament this past weekend.  After a great weekend of hockey the Highlanders obtained their season goal of advancing through the tournament and into a Play Off Series.

The 2002 Grey  Bruce Highlander Minor Midgets wrapped up the regular season portion of their season this past weekend with a 3-0 win over Halton Hills in there Home Finale. With this win the Highlanders clinched 6th place and secured one of there Pre Season Goals by getting into the middle pool for the SCTA Year End Tournament.  They will play in a two day 4 game Round Robin Tournament vs Guelph, Burlington, Buffalo & Halton Hills.  Top two teams from this pool will advance to a Play Off Series vs the top two team teams from the other pool. The 2002 Grey Bruce Highlanders will once again invade the Harry Lumely Bayshore arena in Owen Sound.  The Highlanders will welcome the Guelph Jr Gryphons to the Scenic City for an 6:00 puck drop. With the OHL Owen Sound Attack being away on Saturday night it's a great chance to come down and catch some future OHL players facing off.
