Bantam, 2014-2015 (Grey-Bruce Highlanders AAA Minor Hockey Association)

The Grey Bruce Highlander Bantam team are headed to the OMHA Championships.  The team advances after a thrilling 5 game series against the Southern Tier Admirals.  After 4 games and a bus trip to Port Colborne, the Highlanders went onto defeat the Admirals in Game 5 at home in Chesley.  The roar of the home town crowd cheered the boys onto a decisive  a 7-0 victory. The OMHA Championships will be held in Aurora in the new facility at St. Andrews College.  The Highlanders open on Friday, March 13 at 10:30 vs. The Barrie Colts.  Stay tuned for updates.

The Grey Bruce Highlanders Bantam team was well represented at this weekend's SCTA All-Star Game in St. Catherines.  Forwards Connor Roberts, Brendan Cederberg and Jackson Nasato along with defensemen Chet Phillips and Derrick Cornfield and goalie Lucas Pfeil we all members of the all star team. Since the Bantam team is a top the standings for the central division, the coaching staff, led by head coach Craig Shaw, were behind the bench for the Central Division Team.  Congratulations goes out to our own Connor Roberts for being named the MVP for the Central team.
