Schedule & Results, Atom, 2012-2013 (Grey-Bruce Highlanders AAA Minor Hockey Association)

After a sluggish first and falling behind 3-1, the boys gave everything they had and rallied to tie the game at 3.  They dominated the game through the last two periods and  had several shifts with Hamilton hemmed deep in their own end producing at least a dozen excellent scoring chances.  However, to stay alive for Sunday, the boys needed the "W".  Despite the tie, words cannot describe how proud the Highlander Organization should be with this team.  With every Atom team working towards this weekend, and a chance to move on to the OMHA championship, it was great to see these Highlander boys competing at such a high level.  It truly was a great year for this team, as they can brag all summer about only losing 1 game in this tournament.
