The Leeder and Associates Grey Bruce Highlanders Major Bantams lost a heart Breaker to Halton. The game was very close, back and forth chances at each end. Halton finding the back of the net in the first period. The Highlanders had many good scoring chances with the puck inches short of crossing the line . Leeder and Associates Grey Bruce Highlander Bantams played tough in Brampton . The boys came out hard and heavy playing the Brampton lot, hit for hit ,working hard for the puck . But it was not until late in the second that the effects were felt by Brampton when the Highlanders had a few odd man rushes . Then finally Mitch Wright put one away in front off a shot from Kurtis MacDermid . Then in the third they battled back and forth and in the last minute and a half Brampton pulled their goalie and suffered a insurance goal by Ian Nichols. The Highlander Bantams are Stuggling to put away all their chances early this season . The boys have played 3 regular season games and came away with only 3 points. Not take anything away from the opposition, they have played us tough. With a little hard work the boys should be able to step back into where they left off last season.
