Minor PeeWee, 2007-2008 (Grey-Bruce Highlanders AAA Minor Hockey Association)

The Grey Bruce Highlanders Minor Peewee Team attended a Nutrition & Fitness Seminar on Sunday February 3rd put on by Alison Wells and Graham Brown of the Health Options Fitness & Wellness Centre in Hanover. The knowledge gained was very informative with great tips to improve our fitness levels with hockey related exercises and enhance our pre-game regime to make us more effective in the 3rd period and reduce injuries throughout the year.

The Grey Bruce Highlanders Minor Peewee came together this year to make Christmas a little more special in each of their hometown communities. The members of the team from Chesley, Hanover, Hepworth, Holstein, Kincardine, Markdale, Shelburne, Singhampton and Wiarton raised money and purchased 12 turkeys in December then donated them to the Salvation Army food banks in each of their communities.
