Graf celebrates 400 game milestone with the Highlanders
After eight seasons representing the Grey Bruce Highlanders, Nate Graf reached an incredible milestone — 400 games played!
Nate's journey with the Highlanders began in 2018. Since then, season after season, he has grown not only as a player but as a leader. His 400th game came on Dec. 7, 2025, against the Credit River Capitals.
“Playing 400 games with the same organization means a lot to me,” Nate shared. “I believe it’s given me the confidence to be more of a leader over these past few seasons.”
When asked to sum up his time as a Highlander in one word, his answer was simple: memorable. There have certainly been plenty of memorable moments along the way for Nate, from winning a bronze medal at the OMHA Championships in Minor Atom, to scoring an overtime playoff winner against Halton in Major Atom, a goal that still stands out as one of the highlights of his time with the Highlanders.
Nate credits much of his early development to his first Highlanders coach, Grant Murray, who led him through his first two seasons with the organization. “Coach Murray taught us that we had to work hard on and off the ice to have success at this level,” Nate said.
Among all the rinks he’s played in over the years, Nate shared that his experience playing at an outdoor rink in Buffalo is one experience stands out the most.
Now, as Nate reflects on eight seasons in Highlanders colours, he shares one message to younger players: “My eight years as a Highlander have flown by. Enjoy your time as a Highlander because it goes by fast.”
Congratulations on your achievement, Nate.
