The GBH's are pleased to announce that Chris
Minard will be joining the Bench Staff of the U12 Team for the 2021/22 Season.
Chris has 15 years experience playing professional hockey in the NHL, AHL, ECHL, CHL and DEL (Germany). From Owen Sound, Chris also played for 4 years with the OHL Owen Sound Team.
After retirement from professional hockey, Chris returned to Owen Sound and started his new career as the principal with MinPro Elite Training. As a certified personal trainer, Chris's business offers personal training, hockey skills and off-ice development for young hockey players.
Most recently, Chris has been coaching with the Owen Sound Minor Hockey Group.
Chris will assist Head Coach, Kerr Bell with the recruitment process for next season. As previously announced, the OMHA has cancelled Spring Tryouts and tentatively rescheduled to start September 7th. Please continue to monitor the website for further details as they become available.
