Next Steps for Session 2
Duration & Play

The next session will start November 2nd and run through to December 20th inclusive. This provides 7 weeks of programming.  We will be taking a 2 week break over Christmas and Session 3 will start January 4th.

We will continue with 3 on 3 modified game play as we do not have enough players to go the 4 on 4.   The website is up to date and completed until the end of the year.

Game Schedule

All teams will play 2 games per week for a total of 12 games during Round Robin play.  Games will be played on weekends and Friday night (U16/U18 only).  The Semi Finals/Finals will be played on the weekend of Dec 19th and 20th.

To win a Team needs to win 2 of 3 periods.  There is no overtime during Round Robin play but playoffs are sudden death if need be.  All games must follow Modified Game Rules per OHF Framework.

Period lengths will be 15-15-15 with a 3 Minute warm up and a flood between the 2nd and 3rd periods.

Movement of Players

Where necessary Players may be reassigned to an older age group for game play only to provide for the balancing of the number of players for game play.  These Players will be identified by the Coach and must have the agreement of the Player and Parents.

Protocol/Procedure Updates

Players may use the Dressing Room after a session to change.  No showers!! Players are encouraged to get
undressed quickly and exit the arena as quickly as possible.
One Parent per Player may enter the Arena for game play only.  It is imperative that the parent practice safe
social distancing, wear a face mask and follow any other direction from Arena Staff. If this is not adhered to we
will revert back to no one allowed in the arena for both games and practices.
Cost

The cost for Session 2 is $560 per player.  Please make payment to your Team Manager by November 1st.  If there is a player that will not be returning it is imperative to let you coach or manager know as soon as possible in case we need to make changes to the teams for game play.

Note:  As per OHF Return to Play rules Players are not able to return to their Home Centre if they committed to the GBH for the previous session.

See you on the ice!!!
