Battle of First Place Teams a Win for Everyone!

The Grey Bruce Highlanders and Barrie Colts minor atoms met in Thornbury in a battle of first place teams in their respective leagues. Although the Highlanders won the game 3 to 0 it was what the teams did that made them both winners.  Both teams agrees to play the game with the intent to raise money for Wyatt’s Warriors. Wyatt Delage is Barrie Colt peewee AAA player who is battling cancer and currently in the hospital.

With the support of many fans who made the trip and supported the game the minor atom Highlanders were able to raise almost 3000.00 to donate to the cause. Additionally, Highlander players decided to pool their money purchasing numerous gift cards totaling 465.00 for Wyatt’s family.

The Minor Atoms want to thank everyone who attended the game and donated to this wonderful cause. The Grey Bruce Highlanders AAA organization send Wyatt our best wishes and healing thoughts.

Thank you.

Go Highlanders Go!

Go Wyatt Go!

Go Colts Go!  (Unless you are playing the Highlanders!)
