Sproule and Lalonde selected!!!
Submitted By Hugh Morrison on Saturday, April 08, 2017
The Grey Bruce Highlanders are thrilled to have two members of the Minor Midget selected in the OHL Priority Selection draft.

The action started early with Emmett Sproule being selected in the first round by the Erie Otters with the 21st overall pick.  Emmett is an electrifying player who can lift the pace of a game.  Eric Lalonde was the second Highlander drafted when he went to the Oshawa Generals with the 74th overall pick.  Eric is strong two way defenceman who loves to compete and engage physically at both ends of the ice.

Congratulations to both boys and their parents, Chris and Debbie Sproule and Ted and Leslie Lalonde.  The Highlanders would also like to salute Collingwood minor hockey as both players are Collingwood residents.
