Tryout Schedule Posted and Registration Open
The Grey Bruce Highlanders AAA organization is pleased to
announce that registration for tryouts is now open. For the upcoming season we will be offering
teams in the following categories, Major Atom, Minor Pee Wee, Major Pee Wee,
Minor Bantam, Major Bantam, Minor Midget, and Major Midget. Tryouts will run from April 10th
until April 24th. To check the schedule for each individual team

Please note that in order to skate the player has to attach a permission to skate form which has been processed by their home center. Please also bring a copy to the first tryout. The cost for each tryout session, game or practice, is 20$. Please note that you can register for tryouts by clicking on the button titled “tryout registration” on the home page. Players are strongly encouraged to register prior to tryouts using the electronic form. Players from out of zone wishing to try-out for the Highlanders must present an F1 waiver from their home zone if the zone is adjacent to the Grey-Bruce zone. Any skater coming from a zone that is not adjacent must produce waivers from all zones between their home zone and Grey Bruce. **Please note that a Permission to skate from the player's home center will still be required.
Please note that an F1 waiver will only be granted to an in-zone player if they attend tryouts, skate, and are then cut by the coach of that specific age group. Waiver requests will be processed 45 minutes after the tryout by an executive member with confirmation from the coach that the player has been released.
Players require proper equipment as mandated by the OMHA. Failure to use a mouth guard, neck guard and other appropriate equipment will result in a player being removed from the ice.
