HIGHLANDER ALUMNI, BEN SCHEEL, SCORES WINNING GOAL IN THE OJHL CHAMPIONSHIP!
Trenton Golden Hawks defeated the Georgetown Raiders in the OJHL Championship and will now represent the OJHL at the Dudley-Hewitt Cup, the National Championship for Junior A hockey.Scoring the winning goal was former Highlander Ben Scheel (1996) who played with the Highlanders for 5 years graduating from the Major Midget team in 2012/13. 

Ben started his OJHL career with the Burlington Cougars and was traded to the Trenton Golden Hawks this season.
 
Also, playing for Trenton in the game was former Highlander, Ethan Skinner (1997).  Ethan just completed his 2nd year with Elmira Sugar Kings of the GOJHL and was called up to Trenton for the Championship Series.
 
Both players are products of the Kincardine MHA and live in Kincardine during the off season.
