Connor Roberts to Represent Canada! Congratulations Connor!
The Grey Bruce Highlanders are thrilled to share the news that Connor Roberts a member of the Minor Midget squad has been picked to represent Canada at the upcoming Winter Youth Olympic Games to be held in Lillehamer, Norway.
In a press release on January 14th, Hockey Canada named 17 players from around the country to the team. The Youth Winter Olympics take place from February 12-21st in Lillehammer Norway. The team is composed of players born in 2000 and was selected by Hockey Canada's director of player personnel, Ryan Jankowski along with support from regional scouts.
The Highlanders are extremely excited that Connor will be representing our organization, province and country at these games. Congratulations Connor! We are all so proud of you!
