Betts to Join the Big Red!
The Grey Bruce Highlanders are thrilled to congratulate Kyle Betts on signing a letter of intent to play hockey for Cornell University.  Kyle (1997) played his Minor Midget and Midget hockey with the Grey Bruce Highlanders.  He spent the last year with the Waterloo Siskins and is planning to return to the team this year.  His scholarship with Cornell begins in the 2016-2017 season.

Based in Ithaca, New York, Cornell is an Ivy League school with an incredible reputation for both athletics and academics.  The Cornell hockey program has been home to several prominent NHL players including Ken Dryden and Joel Nieuwendyk .  The Highlanders organization is extremely proud of Kyle and wishes him nothing but success in the future.
