Tim Warrilow has been appointed Head Coach of this Team for the 2013/14 season.  Tim has most recently spearheaded the initiative to get this age group up an running as a Novice AAA team last year.  This experience plus Tim's recent coaching/managing involvement with Minor Hockey in Owen Sound make him well qualified to assume this position.

Tim played minor hockey in Grey Bruce and then advancing to NCAA Division I hockey.  After his playing career Tim spent a few years coaching in the NCAA.

During the day Tim is the General Manager, Garb & Gear Sports in Owen Sound, a major sponsor of Grey Bruce Highlander hockey for many years.

Jon Thompson has accepted the position of Head Coach for this Team next season.  Jon is currently involved with the Grand Valley Minor Hockey Association as the Head Coach of the Atom Rep Team.  Prior to last season Jon worked with the Orangeville Minor Hockey as his 4 children are all keen hockey players.

Jon a native of Grey Bruce is looking forward to coming back to his roots and making a contribution to the hockey experience for elite players in the region.  He believes the priority of players at this age is skill development and he will implement a coaching plan that provides players the opportunity to maximize skill development.

As a Construction Manager with Ellis Don, Jon has the skills to run a complex operation and the ability to keep things moving forward.  This background is well suited to lead a successful Atom program next season.
