Update on former Highlander....
Former Grey Bruce Highlander Kevin Czuczman from Port Elgin has been invited as an undrafted NCAA free-agent to the Buffalo Sabres Prospects camp this week and the Winnipeg Jets camp next week.

Kevin just finished his second year playing defense for the Lake Superior State University Lakers NCAA Division 1 hockey team.  After earning CCHA All Rookie team honourable mention in 2012, Czuczman was voted Most Valuable Defenceman after finishing with 2 goals and 11 points, leading the Lakers in plus-minus and totaling 45 blocked shots.  He appeared in 38 of 39 games and scored game winning goals during a 4-2 victory in Alaska on Nov.3rd and a 3-2 home victory over Ohio State on Nov.24th.

Owen Sound Attack forward Daniel Catenacci is also at the Buffalo camp and Barrie Colt forward Mark Scheifele will be at the Winnipeg camp.

Czuczman graduated from the Saugeen Shores Minor Hockey Association to the Grey Bruce Highlanders where he played 2 years of AAA Bantam and 2 years of AAA Midget.  Following Midget he played one year for the 2008-2009 Junior "C" Walkerton Hawks before moving on to one year of Junior "B" in Waterloo and a year in Tier II Provincial Junior "A" with Newmarket.
