Yesterday, the Dallas Stars dealt Jaromir Jagr to the Boston Bruins in exchange for Sauble Beach native Lane MacDermid, Plymouth Whalers forward Cody Payne & a conditional second-round pick in the 2013 NHL Draft,
MacDermid, who played 2 & 1/2 years with the Owen Sound Attack has played 8 games in the NHL, accumulating 15 minutes in penalties.
In Junior, MacDermid started with the Owen Sound Greys, graduated to the Attack in 2006 and scored 23 times for the Attack before he was dealt to Windsor and played for a Memorial Cup Champion in 2009
