Coaching Positions Available (PeeWee and Minor Midget)
Submitted By dmoffatt on Friday, February 22, 2013
The Grey Bruce Highlanders are recruiting Coaches for the 2013/14 season for our PeeWee and Minor Midget teams. The Highlanders are an OMHA AAA Zone representing Grey/Bruce counties and play in the SCTA league. For the 2013/14 season we will be growing by 2 more teams and will field teams from Major Novice through to Major Midget. Interest in AAA hockey continues to grow in our Zone and has resulted in expanded need for experienced and knowledgable Coaches that can perform at this level.

Our program has a strong emphasis on Player Development resulting in the improved competitiveness of our Teams over the past few years. A typical week consists of two 1 1/2 hour practices; 1 skills practice (outside instructors); and two league games (home/away). We welcome parent and non-parent applicants, however, our preference would be a non-parent for the Minor Midget team. This is a excellent opportunity for existing Coaches to move to the next level of competition or for individuals who played hockey at a high level and are looking for an opportunity to move into coaching.

Interested applicants are asked to complete the Coaching Application found under the Our Coaches tab on our website.

Please submit your application by February 24, 2013.

Thank you for you interest in Highlanders hockey.
