SCTA Update
BUFFALO REGALS are a GO!!!

Final approval was granted on May 26th, 2012, by the OMHA, OHF and Hockey Canada, welcoming the Buffalo Regals into the SCTA for the upcoming 2012 / 2013 season.  With the exception of major midget, all Grey Bruce Highlander teams will play a 40 game season, up from 36 games last year.  Our major midget team will remain at 36 games as Buffalo does not have a team in this age group.
USA Hockey would not authorize body checking on USA soil for Buffalo Regals minor peewee and major peewee teams.  These age groups will play full body checking but the Regals must host these home games in Fort Erie, ON.

For the 2012 / 2013 season, the Highlanders Association has decided that all of our teams will play their away games vs. the Buffalo Regals in Fort Erie, ON.  Many factors were considered in reaching this decision, including travel times, costs, and logistics.

The SCTA Minor Midget Showcase is set to take place in St Catherines on January 26 & 27, 2013.  The ETA / SCTA Major Midget All-Star Game will be featured during this same event.

NEW this year, a Major Bantam ETA / SCTA All-Star Game will also take place during the SCTA Minor Midget Showcase!!

SCTA Qualifier Tournament dates and locations will be announced in August.
