Hughson named Greys Player of the Week
Rookie forward Trevor Hughson has been named this week's Greys Player of the Week.

A 6-0, 180-pound Maxwell, Ont. native, Hughson scored once in a 7-2 home loss to the Brantford Golden Eagles on Friday, before lighting the lamp twice on Saturday in a 5-4 road defeat to the Guelph Hurricanes.

Hughson, 17, who has found the back of the net at least once in six straight games, is now tied with fellow rookie forward Zac Coulter as the Greys scoring leader with 17 goals.

The Grey Bruce Highlanders alum also leads the Greys in power play goals (7) and is fourth in both points (28) and penalty minutes (78).

The Greys, who trail the Kitchener Dutchmen by four points for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League's Midwestern Conference, visit the Stratford Cullitons on Friday and the Dutchmen on Sunday.
