Hotel Confusion

The Peewee parents where confused about hotel reservations this weekend in the Golden Horseshoe.

Parents of the Peewee Highlanders were left scrambling tonight in the Golden Horseshoe as the boys earned a spot in the semi-finals on Sunday.  This unusual experience (to play on Sunday) for this team is an great sight and well deserved by a bunch of hard working boys. 
The Highlanders opened the Festival of Lights Tournament with a 2-1 win over the host Canucks.  They lost their second game 5-0 to Oshawa Generals and then returned Saturday morning with a 5-4 win over Tonawanda Lightning.  The Saturday night game against Rochester Alliance resulted in a 1-1 draw giving the Highlanders second place in their pool, thereby advancing Grey-Bruce to the semis on Sunday against the Windsor Jr. Spitfires.  More details to follow.
Congratulations boys.  The hard work is paying off.
