Highlander Team won their first regular season game.
In its third regular season game, the Brampton 45’s visited the Highlanders in Chesley, Ontario believing they would win easily as the Highlanders had never had better than a three goal spread with Brampton. The Highlanders rolled their lines to keep fresh legs throughout the game. Scoring early, the Highlanders put Brampton behind the eight ball forcing them to take chances to catch up. The team skated hard, showed a desire to win battles and were rewarded on many occasions with puck possession and scoring opportunities. All players competed hard, and every player on the team contributed to this important victory. As the team continues to work hard both on the ice and off, there are many more wins anticipated in the future of this team. Great job Highlanders!!!
