WM action at Markham Majors Fall Classic
The WasteManagement Minor Bantams compete in Markham Majors Fall Classic!!
It wasn't all Gobble,Gobble this past Thanksgiving weekend!
The Minor Bantams played 4 games with a record of 1-2-1. Beating a strong Pickering/Ajax Raiders team 1-0 on Fri. Oct 5. On Sat. Oct.6 a Loss to the much improved Guelph Storm(eventual Tournament Champs) 5-3 and a Tie to Central Ontario Wolves 1-1. Sun.
Oct.7 brought an early morning Loss to Oshawa Generals 5-4.

In a game with few shots from both sides the GBH 99's executed a disciplined game.
Jake Lee(Owen Sound) Scored the only goal of the game assisted by Will Rickerby(Saugeen Shores) and Tristen Park(Beaver Valley).
Oct.6 vs. Guelph
In a game that was very unlike the night before the GBH 99's got on the board first with a goal from Shale Blakey(Flesherton) assisted by Dalton Black(Lucknow) and Mike Fiegehen(Saugeen Shores). Guelph scored 4 in row to put the GBH 99's down by 3. Troy Weber "answered back" from Noah Johnson(Durham)and Danny Skinner(Kincardine). Guelph potted another and Tristen Park answered from Jake Lee and Logan Swanton(Bruce Peninsula).
Oct.6 Vs. Central Ont.
A tight game where the PP could'nt capitalize to break the tie!!
Will Rickerby scored from Jordan Taylor(Staynor) and Tristen Park.
Oct.7 Vs.Oshawa
This was a game that proved the Boys had heart! They battled back from 4-1 to tie 4-4 only to lose 5-4!!
After giving up 2 quick goals Tristen Park scored from Jake Lee and Josh Urbshott(Bruce Peninsula). It was 4-1 after 2 periods of play.Then came the rally cry!! Tristen Park from Danny Skinner then Danny Skinner from Tristen Park and Jake Lee and finally Josh Urbshott from Mike Fiegehen. But the Generals got the last laugh!!
Next action for the WasteManagement Team is Sun.Oct.14 vs. Guelph in Chesley.
