The Halton Hurricanes left Chesley arena on Sunday Dec.4 in shock!!
The Waste Management peewees battled to a hard fought Victory over the confident Halton Hurricanes who in their previous trip North beat us 9-2. With  ALL the boys really starting to gel and some solid goaltending we beat the visitors 3-2, stealing the W from right under their noses.

The game plan was to shutdown there top line! AND shutdown we did!The shutdown line from the WM peewees was "Captain Lee","Bros. Will"(Rickerby) and Noah Johnson with Swanny and Urbby on D!
At the opening draw the game started at a FAST pace. We knew the boys where keen! Halton got on the board first with a PP goal at the 7:12 mark of the 1st. Not to be out done Noah Johnson put away a shorty to tie the game at 1 at 3:04 of the 1st! The 2nd was a great battle with several penalties and Halton feeling very frustrated with the in your face style of hockey all our boys were bringin!! Halton got the only goal of the 2nd and off for a flood we go! Here we go!! At 11:52 of the 3rd on the PP Noah Johnson got his 2nd of the game assisted by Will Rickerby. At 4:28 of the 3rd the "Shutdown line" went to work and potted the game winner!! Scored by "Bros. Will" assisted by "Captain Lee" and Noah Johnson!! There you have it the top line from Halton left the Chesley arena -3 for the day and "Eyes Wide Open". This was a great game by all!The D had great gap and all the forwards played in your face hockey!! With the player of the game "Golden Stick" going to Goalie Jack Armstrong!! Catch next weekends action as we take on Wellend for a double header in Chesley! Starting at 12 noon Dec.10
