Kia of Owen Sound Grey Bruce Highlanders AAA Minor Midgets played twice at home this weekend in SCTA regular season action. The weekend started on Saturday with a win against the Niagara Fall Canucks in Chesley. They completed the weekend in Chesley with a game on Sunday against the Brampton Jr. Battalion.
The weekend started with a 5-0 win against the Canucks with Tanner Mighton, Justin Graham, Tyler McCracken, Brooks Nelthorpe and Jayme Forslund scoring the Highlanders goals. On Sunday, the Highlanders then played the Battalion and tied 2-2. The Highlander goals came from Tyler McCracken and Zachary Coulter.
