Superior Midgets FINALLY Post a Win!
It has been a long time since their last win in the Waterloo Tournament when the midgets defeated the North Bay Trappers, but the team finally halts the losing streak at 19.
The past 7 weeks has been a tremendous trial for this team with losses and goals against piling up, but a visit to the Sleeman Centre in Guelph on Jan 31st finally gave the team the result they so badly wanted (and needed), a convincing 6-2 win. A solid three period effort was all it took, as the Highlanders scored first and never really looked back. Tender Craddock was absolutely focused between the pipes and worked hard to limit the goals against to two. Scoring credit in this game goes to: Thomson from Haylow & Tone, Tone from Crawford, Duncan from Ackerland, Thomson from Haylow, Smith from Walsh, Ackerland from Sguigna & Lindner.
Keep up the hard work boys, tough games ahead, you have to continue with the solid efforts every shift if you want to continue to celebrate victories.
