Hard work no match for Brampton .
Sunday saw our Midgets off to Brampton.
The Grey Bruce Highlanders Midgets went to Brampton to play a tough road game. They wanted to get off on the right foot and they did at the 12:58 mark of the first period when Chris Gillman found the twine in the back of the net with the help of Mitch Wright and Wendel Cameron. Having that goal go right to their legs they poured in on Brampton and held them in their zone, working them at every chance. It paid off with Chris Gillman scoring his second from Ryan Hudson and Wendel Cameron. The Guys kept the pressure on coming up with another goal late in the first this time Trevor Hughson found the net from Ian Nichols and Ryan Hudson. The second period would bring more from the Farmers scoring their 4th of the game by Trevor Hughson and 2nd of the game from
Ryan Coote and Ian Nichols. This is when the boys set her on Cruise control just trying to stay out of the gooning Brampton was determined to give. Our Boy's can be proud of their hard work and their will power not to give in to Bramptons antics. This year we owe a lot to our great goaltending keeping us in it, Jerred and Paul .
