Minor PeeWee SCTA OMHA Qualifier Action

The Grey Bruce Waste Management Highlanders Minor PeeWees had a good day on the ice. Although we didn't make it to the win column we played 2 very competitive Hockey Games.
Our 1st game of the day was against the Guelph Storm which ended in a 3-3 tie. Highlander goals were scored by Michael Fiegehen with 2 and Noah Solinger added a single marker. Assists went to Tyson Wilkins, Noah Solinger (X2), Ethan Bullivant and Quinton Maddock.
Our second game of the day was against the Welland Tigers which was an exciting game with end to end action. Troy Weber scored the first goal of the game unassisted. Troy added a second goal in the middle frame assisted by Eric Charlebois and Danny Skinner.
The Highlanders were pressuring to even the score and in our continued attempt pulled the goalie in favour of an extra attacker. The Highlanders were strong in the Tigers end but with 35 seconds remaining the Tigers got the puck free and slipped it into the empty net.
2 GOOD GAMES BOYS, we're proud of your accomplishments and development. We've got 2 big games tomorrow against the top 2 teams in the league but don't give up let's compete and end the season on a positive note
