The Kia of Owen Sound Grey Bruce Highlanders AAA Major Bantams played the Burlington Eagles in regular league action on the Saturday in Chesley. The Kia Highlanders won the game 3-0. The Highlanders goals were scored by Matt Cruickshank, Zachary Coulter and Lauchlin Elder.
The Kia of Owen Sound Grey Bruce Highlanders AAA Major Bantams then travelled to Brampton on Sunday and lost a close one to the Halton Hurricanes. The Highlanders lost the game 6-5. The Highlanders goals were scored by Zachary Coulter (2), Tanner Bastien, Connor Patton and Matt Cruickshank. Parker Merkley played solid in net for the Highlanders.
