A Disapointing but Competative Finish to the Season for the Douglas Cleaners Grey Bruce Highlanders AAA Midgets at the OMHA Finals at Peterborough

The Douglas Cleaner Highlander Midgets went 0-4 at the OMHA Finals at Peterborough last weekend.
On Friday, the Highlanders started with a 6-3 loss to the Peterborough Jr.Pete's and finished the day with a tough 6-1 loss the Oakville Rangers. The Highlanders goals against Peterborough were scored by Josh Sguigna, Nike Gazo and Austin Rigney. The Highlander Goal against Oakville was scored by Jesse Jamieson. On Saturday, the Highlanders lost 5-2 York Simcoe Express and 2-0 to North Central Predators. The Highlanders goals against the Express were scored by Blake Forslund and Austin Rigney. The goaltenders were Jay Walker vs.Oakville and Robbie Alsop vs. Peterborough, York-Simcoe and North Central.
Oakville beat York Simcoe in the Gold Medal game.
North Central beat Peterborough in the Bronze Medal game.
