Score Board Too Minor Midget win on road

great start to regular season! After losing the first home game to Guelph 4 -3 the minor midgets went on the road to defeat Burlington 2-1 and then Brampton 2-0.
On Sat. Sept. 20 08 The Scoreboard Too minor midgets played Guelph in Ayton. After a close hard fought match Guelph scored the go a head goal late in the 3rd. Final 4-3 Guelph
The next day traveling to Burlington the Eagles fell to the Highlanders. This was a quick, clean game in fact neither team was assessed a penalty. While this may seem impossible with the new rules it was great to see a fast skating and passing exhibition for 3 entire periods. Final 2 -1 Highlanders
Tuesday night we traveled to Brampton. Scoring first and maintaining a 1-0 score, captain Jay Thompson clenched the win with an empty net goal. All lines played well, showing up to play despite having to travel on a school night. Final 2-0 Highlanders.
