2010-2011 PeeWee - Exhibition vs. Waterloo Wolves
Submitted By Paul Stewart on Sunday, September 05, 2010
Friday night the Albion Amusement Peewees played their second exhibition game against the tough Waterloo Wolves in Ayton.

The boys were in tough, trying to use things they learned from their first game and apply this new found knowledge to an even stronger competitor from the Alliance.  The Wolves managed to open the scoring at the 13:00 mark but the Highlanders answered right back a minute later when Cole Hodgins out hustled the Waterloo defence to even the score at 1-1.  A solid first period effort would keep the remainder of the period scoreless.

The Highlanders got solid goaltending from both tenders (Macham and Braiden), making huge saves at opportune times keeping the score tied until late in the second.  Unfortunately the Wolves aggressive "crash the net" style combined with some unfortunate bounces and a power play goal allowed them to stretch their lead ending with a 5-1 final score.
